Made It Through a Month

We've had two kids for over a month now, and we're still here! Whew. At times it's been a lot of fun, and at others it's been a challenge (trying to be as PC as possible). Simon is not listening to us at all right now, which makes things much harder to deal as we are not sleeping as much. But we're very blessed and everyone's healthy. Before the pictures/videos: April 30th we took Eliot to his one-month checkup and he got a clean bill of health. His stats are: Weight: 9lb, 1oz (25th percentile) Height: 21 3/4'' (50th percentile) Head Circumference: 37 1/2 cm (25th percentile) When the brothers start fighting over things, we can always remind ourselves that they once loved each other.
Eliot is pretty fussy right now, so the Baby Bjorn has come in handy.
Any thoughts on who he looks like?
The NBA playoffs are inspiring him.
Thanks to great-aunt Karen and great-uncle Bunk (and thanks to Bobby for being the UPS guy on this one) for adding to the stuffed animal collection. This one is the biggest by far.
We showed our pediatrician these photos, and she was very impressed that Eliot is smiling already. I wish we could get him to smile at 2am, though, instead of screaming our ears off!
Must have been Bring-Your-Kid-to-Work day.
Almost every weekend we've been taking the kids to the Waukegan airport. Last Sunday was especially exciting as we saw at least 10-15 planes take off and land in a span of 45 minutes.
I don't even know what to say on this one. Just watch. Pals.
Last Tuesday at the park in Gurnee.
