The Last One (PB2)

The final post -- pre-baby 2 -- has to be massive. Here goes. At Wadsworth Park on February 5th.
At home February 8th.
At GG and Papa's on Valentine's Day.
We have no clue when this will actually be used for sleeping, but here's the "Big Boy" bed. Taken February 23rd.
The weekend of February 24th was our "babymoon" to Kohler, Wisconsin. I had never been there before and came away very impressed, and would absolutely visit again. The first night I was feelin' groovy after a couple of beers.
Although the weekend was filled with gluttony, I had to show the people that I can still play a little tennis.
Again, proof that someone is not always smiley and filled with mirth. In fact, he was so unhappy here that he pulled half his shirt off.
Our most recent big purchase was the new bedroom set, which arrived on February 28th.
And of course it didn't take long for someone to make himself right at home.
Simon and Grandma Janet (now known only as Mima) did a nice job making Hamentaschen. See for yourself. Taken on March 3rd.
Many thanks to Mima for painting Simon's Nold (new for him but old for us) dresser. Taken on March 5th.
Stickers have been a big hit lately. This was shot on March 5th as well. From March 6th.
Here's baby #2 on mommy's March 8th ultrasound. Look at the cheeks!
Back at Wadsworth Park March 10th.
Later that evening.
On March 12th I decided to show Simon how high I could kick the ball. Oops (I know it's hard to tell from this image, but the ball is stuck in this tree probably at least 30-40 feet high).
March 13th at Wadsworth Park. These are from the following night. Is he ready for the learner's permit? Whoa, let's not jump to conclusions. Every night before we go to sleep we sneak a peek of the little bugger, and this is what we saw. Taken March 16th.
It was nice having breakfast on the deck last weekend.
Later in the day Saturday we headed to Milwaukee for the day. This was taken at Ellsworth Park in Bayside.
Sunday morning back at home.
It's not easy moving a heavy basketball hoop with a smile, but I stepped up.
Later in the day we stopped by the Waukegan Regional Airport to watch some take-offs and landings.
