Winter Wonderland
Well, not exactly. But we did get a decent amount of snow today, so I thought it was appropriate (see the last set of photos/movies).
As most of you know, Simon is pretty proficient on the IPad. From November 10th.
Usually I make the trip to Costco myself, but later that day we had a family outing.
For the last couple of months, Eliot has been interested in movies/videos, which is earlier than Simon. Is that good or bad? Either way, he's very focused when they are on. On November 12th, as I was waiting for Hilda to arrive, I caught him watching like this. He was in this position for about five minutes.
On the basement swingset that night.
Aw, look at that brotherly love and affection.
Breakfast at Little Saints (daycare) on November 15th.
That same day I flew to NYC to shoot a video for my company. This is the inside of the entrance to our building.
The next day with his favorite Magnatiles.
Later that night.
From November 22nd. Must have been a good one.
Two days later we had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe at Gurnee Mills. Eliot liked the sights and sounds a lot.
Also at the mall is a nice little train.
Then we went to the Bass Pro Shops in the mall and saw even more fishies.
From November 29th. I can't remember what we were watching, but looks like the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Last Sunday.
We're definitely not using our library voices in this house. Also from last Sunday.
From Wednesday. They both love Grandma Fran's Hanukkah gift for Eliot.
It was a good 2 1/2 year run for my IPAD 2, but all things come to an end. It was time for an upgrade yesterday.
Thanks for this one, GG! We put it up last night, but this was taken this morning.
I was gone playing tennis, but apparently Eliot was getting frustrated with his toy, and Simon said to him, "If you need help, I'm here." Of course that type of graciousness only lasts for a blink.
Simon got a new style of Magnatiles and he decided to connect them to his trains.
Ok, ok, remember that winter stuff I was talking about?
First, the prep.
It ain't as easy as it looks, kid.
The slide is just a little faster with snow and a snowsuit on.
I tried to show him how to make snow angels. Not bad for a first try.
