Cool Carnival
Mommy came home last night from her trip to North Carolina, and everyone was happy to see her.
This morning, the women of mommy's Bosley side of the family met up for lunch at a nice hotel in Northbrook.
After naptime it was off to the carnival! It's at the site of the Jelly Belly factory near Kenosha, which is only 15 minutes from our house.
See if you can follow Tia and Simon here.

Laughs and Cries
Two posts in a week? Who'd a thunk it!
On Sunday the kids decided to destroy Simon's room.
A bit later there was a trip to the airport.
I had the kids on Monday night. Whoever thought it would be funny to be continuously spit on?
Mommy and Tia went to Great American on Tuesday.
Finally, Eliot had his 15-month checkup today, and all is well. There were some tears shed due to the three shots he needed, but otherwise he was a good boy. He is now 23lb, 13 oz, which is about the 30th percentile for weight; he measures 30 1/2 inches, which is about the same percentile for height; and his head circumference is 47cm, which is in the 50th percentile.

Keepin' Busy
How quickly the months fly by. I thought I was doing a better job posting more frequently, and now June is almost gone with no entry to date. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, right?
Before we get into June, there are a few shots from May to include. At the end of Memorial Day weekend we had a party at our house with lots o' kids and their parents. I was the grill master, and everyone seemed to have a good time.
This is Simon with his friend from school, Trenton. Trenton's mom, Monica, is a nurse at Mommy's hospital in Racine.
With Giada, another buddy from school. Giada's mom, Andrea, is a partner of Mommy's at work.
This one is with Annalise. Her dad, Duane, is a neonatologist at Mommy's hospital.
The previous set of shots was from May 26th. The next day we celebrated at Saba and Nana's in Milwaukee.
Anyone know where Eliot is?
The next morning. I sure as heck wasn't cleaning up this mess.
June 1 must have been a busy day.
The boys are getting heavier, but I can still do it. From June 2nd.
From June 4th.
Lots of activity at home on June 8th. A tree was taken down in the backyard.
Later that night we saw Sting at Ravinia. Thanks to Regan and Dave Cohen for inviting us!
Simon taking photos the next day. Not bad.
Tia (that's aunt Robyn for the uninformed) arrived on June 11th. Her flight was delayed so Mommy and Simon watched some airplanes near O'Hare.
Two days later we went to Six Flags Great America. Everyone had a good time.
On our way home. Looks like it was fun, and tiring.
On Sunday we headed back to Milwaukee to celebrate Father's Day with Saba and Nana. It was a great trip, except for Simon running down a ramp at Saba's pool and slamming his head into a metal gate. That collision produced a huge gash that Mommy had to take care of. It's always nice to have a surgeon around.
Tuesday afternoon in the driveway at home.
Checkout the bodyslam in this one. Also from Tuesday.
Earlier today we played at Monkey Joe's in Kenosha.
And then we had a nice dinner at a nearby Red Robin.
Finally, you may have heard that Mommy contracted a nasty case of Shingles during the last week. It was very rough for a while, but we are pleased to report that she is doing much, much better. Thanks for the support.
