Summer Is Here!

The shorts, t-shirts and swim trunks are out in full effect. Yay! It's been lots o' fun having Tia Robyn around, and we also want to congratulate her on her new gig in H-Town! Thanks to Aunt Regan for getting Eliot his first buddy. These are all offspring of OB/GYNs. This was taken at Oliver Jack Cohen (Regan and Dave's son)'s Bris. And there he is before sealing his covenant. Sarah Bosley, mommy, Tia, and their friend, April Slabosheski, did the Chicago Avon Walk for Breast Cancer on June 2nd and 3rd. The Chicago group raised $6.2 million for the cause! Where's Eliot? You get three guesses and the first two don't count. They named this guy Texas, and he happens to live in Wadsworth not far from us! His first scratch. Mommy and I got to go out to dinner -- by ourselves! -- for our 7th anniversary. At gym class, June 7th. Drum roll please...Ladies and Gentlemen, the first rollover! (it happened on June 8th) Same day, at the great park in Gurnee. Thanks to Grandma Frau for the race tracks and Hot Wheels cars! Watching "Finding Nemo." The afternoon of June 9th brought a fun time as we headed to Regan's parents' house for a pool party! After a snow cone. Why do I have such a serious face on? A spilling snow cone is not that big of a deal. What do you think of my new swim gear? On Sunday we went to Saba and Nana's for swimming and a BBQ. Tia Shauna and Uncle A were also in town from San Diego. Saba was given a lifetime service award from his synagogue, Congregation Beth Israel, on Monday night. At Gurnee Mills Tuesday night. Friday afternoon we all went to the pool in Gurnee and had a great time. He's ready for Star Wars. Looks like he's got this thing down, Grandma Frau. Finally, this last set is out of chronological order, but these were taken by great aunt Karen last Sunday at Saba and Nana's. Eliot's first swim! All of that work tired him out. Simon had a sleepover on Sunday night, and on Monday they took a trip to the Milwaukee Zoo.
