More Mexico and Other Stuff

As you heard by now (and saw some photos), we had a terrific little getaway in Mexico. For anyone who has never been to an all-inclusive in Cancun, I HIGHLY recommend the chain of Excellence resorts. They really take care of you. And a big thanks to Maxine Ezra (she's a travel agent), who set it all up for us. Here's the rest of the pics from the trip.
Simon was well taken care of by Hilda while we were gone, and she even got him a very short, cute haircut!
A couple of weeks back, when mommy was on call at the hospital, Grandma Janet and I took Simon to a Halloween party at his gym. Here's what he looked like right before we left.
Finally, we had a very nice time at the wedding of Jordan Yanow and Laura Landerman, which was held in Milwaukee. Aunt Liz and Uncle Larry took great care of Theo, and we thank Saba and Nana for housing the rest of the crew. These photos were taken on mommy's new IPhone 4S.
This morning we visited Great Grandma Ilse. She was very happy to see us, especially because she had a nice young lad to push her wheelchair.
And finally, you've heard about the morning routine. Now see for yourself what a robot he's become. This what happens as soon as he is out of the crib in the morning.

Farm Fun

While I was trying to become Novak Djokovic's main rival tonight, mommy took Simon to a nearby farm. Looks like they had a great time.

Great Weekend

We were honored to have been at the wedding of our good friend, Dr. Seetal Adhikari, and Greg Kanter. It was held in Oak Brook at a very nice Marriott Resort. Here's Seetal and mommy on Friday evening when the festivities began.
During the evening some very nice young ladies were making very intricate, beautiful designs on people's hands. Does mommy have a hand-modeling career in her future as well?
Here are some shots from Saturday's ceremony.
And here's Seetal with friends, Chris and Dr. Susan Rim. Seetal, mommy, and Susan were all in residency together. Seetal and Susan finished a year before Rachel.
There will most likely be more pictures from this event as our friends send them to us. We'll post when we get them. But the weekend ain't done yet. Tonight we're having dinner with the Melman's to celebrate Elisa's birthday. I haven't been to Evanston in a while, so I am looking forward to it. The restaurant scene is perhaps a little more vibrant than Wadsworth, but it definitely needs a photo finish to determine the winner.
