Credit Where Credit is Due

Thanks to great uncle Bunk and great aunt Karen for taking these awesome pictures. They came in a few weeks back for Nana's 65th birthday.

1.25

If you can figure out the headline you'll win a big prize.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder, right? It's been another few weeks since a posting, so I had to come up with something.

A couple of weeks back Rachel drove in to the city to hang out with some of her buddies from residency.

From L-R: Kristie Bennett, her son JB, and Sogol Jahedi.

This is a little blurry, but it looks like Simon enjoyed his cupcake from aunt Regan (who also hosted the get-together).

As most of you know Simon is going to the Little Gym in Gurnee on Wednesdays. Hilda took the video.

Last weekend was so nice out that mommy, Theo, and Simon played in the yard for a long time. Looks like they had fun.

I came home a bit later that day and there was more playing to be done.

Last Saturday night I was on babysitting duty as mommy went out to a great restaurant in Chicago called Carnival with some more OB/GYNs.

Top row L-R: Seetal Adhikari, Susan Rim, Kristie Bennett, Arathi Cholkeri-Singh; Bottom row L-R: Cara Butler, Sogol Jahedi, Regan Valfer.

He's not ready for Dancing with the Stars yet but he's got lots of potential.

A Fortnight is No Biggie!

Why is everybody always pickin' on me? I don't post for two weeks and it's like I up and quit or something. Sheez.

We had a very nice time visiting Grandma Fun in Minneapolis last weekend. We brought our camera but for some reason (my ignorance) the memory card wasn't there, but Fun had a backup.

These first shots are actually from Simon's birthday party in December. We're posting them now because we had Fun's camera since then.

Now to the MPLS pics.

Mr. Busybody taken Thursday morning.

Wow! He decided to clean up after himself...yeah right.

One's gotta play before bedtime.

It's a bird, it's a plan, it's...MR. HEAVY BREATHING.

I guess the video was more important than the screaming/crying/hysterical kid. I was not a part of this psychology experiment.

These were taken yesterday.

GG & Papa stopped by for lunch yesterday, and Simon just about fell asleep on GG while watching TV.

And these were taken from my cell phone the last couple of weeks.

When Simon was sick we had to give him medication via a nebulizer. He actually liked it a lot and even fell asleep!

Theo always seems to pick the best spots on the bed.

This photo does not do it justice, but this was in MPLS and it was one of the biggest snowbanks I'd ever seen.

I am patting myself on the back on this one as I simultaneously took the photo, kept him from not squirming and got him to look happy.

Finally, I want to thank Grandma Janet for all of her help today. Mommy is working a 24-hour shift and it's always nice to have another set of hands around.
