Way to Go, Les!

Coach Frazier should quit while he's undefeated.

On to less important things (Jay, that was for you): we had a very nice Thanksgiving in Madison and Milwaukee. Simon was a trooper, and had his first sweet -- pumpkin pie. I would say he liked it considering he ate an entire piece in the span of less than a minute. Let the games begin.

Thanksgiving leftovers with the K9 vacuum cleaner very close by.

We definitely need to work on teaching him some manners (listen closely at the end).

These are from today:

I was trying to give Theo the sleeper hold, but it didn't work out so well. He always wins; I just can't beat those sharp teeth.

After the triumphant displays from both of our NFL teams we decided to take a hike in a nearby forest preserve.

Lots of prep work is involved.

But the end result is priceless.

Still Tall and Skinny

It's been a while since I've posted. It could have something to do with the Norovirus our family contracted during the past week. If you haven't heard of it I highly recommend avoiding it...although it's a great weight-loss program.

We took Simon to the doctor yesterday and he was diagnosed with his first ear infection. I think he did pretty well in that department since he's almost 11 months old.

As parting gift we took home his stats, so here they are:

Height: 2' 5.5'' (61.66%)
Weight: 21 lb 4 oz (39.31%)
Head circumference: 45.5 cm (36.03%)

Finally, mommy and I watched Avatar last night. Why did I feel the need to include this in the blog? Well, mommy has always said she hates movies that feature "people with wings." I told her that I would stop the movie at any point if she wasn't liking it. We made it all the way, and she gave it a thumbs up! The sun shines on a dog's a** every once in a while, I guess.

Oh, I almost forgot. You want to see pictures, huh?

Just about time for the morning nap. He looked like a zombie here.

Thanks Great Aunt Karen and Great Uncle Bunk for bringing me back this cool shirt.

Every time we've tried to put a kippah on Simon's head he's pulled it off right away, but Friday night he was cool with it.

As much as it pains me to post these pictures, he does look cute in the outfit (memo to Grandma Fran: here's a great birthday or Hanukkah gift idea: a similar Vikings' one, so we can even out the playing field at home!).

Criss Cross

Mommy had to work overnight tonight, so I was home with Simon. After he fell asleep I took a quick pic. Look at those feet!

Off The Reservation

While I was still working Friday evening mommy went crazy with videos and pictures. If I posted all of them you might not be done until the next Daylight Savings Time, so I picked a few.

It was such a nice weekend weather-wise. Here's a couple pics from yesterday. Simon was watching me as I was in the backyard.

This afternoon we went to the local park.
