We took a 48-hour trip to the Big Apple and had a very nice time. Rachel spent a lot of the weekend attending a wedding shower and bachelorette party for her friend, Marsha Loeb. I, on the other hand, decided not to attend these events and instead spent time with old friends.
Friday night we had dinner in Inwood (very north end of Manhattan) with Ben, JoAn, Noah and Samuel Taylor. Ben and Rachel went to medical school together and are still good friends.

Saturday morning I went to Brooklyn to see my friends Barak and Miriam Zahavy. Barak and I are childhood friends from Minneapolis. The Zahavys have two daughters, Ilana and Maya.
I helped Ilana build this tower, and as you can see she was very proud of her work!
The Zahavy Family
The boys and Ilana went out for a walk and ice cream, and this shot was taken right before I got back on the subway heading back to Manhattan.
Late Saturday afternoon and evening I was in Midtown. This was taken at 1290 6th Av., which is the address of AXA's coporate headquarters in the U.S.
This office building is on top of the Hearst building on 8th Av. and approx. 55th St. Apparently the architect is quite well known, but I can't remember his name.
And now a trip down memory lane. First, 321 W. 54th St. This is where I lived from May 2002-May 2003.
Next, the pizza shop around the corner from the apartment that I frequented often.
Saturday night I had dinner in Soho with my friend and ex-boss, David Rompf. His friend, Hien, also joined us. After dinner we had a drink at a bar on 9th Av. in Midtown, which is where this photo was taken.
The trip ended this morning as we had breakfast at Artie's on 82nd and Broadway with Rachel's aunt Karen and uncle Mark. But I gots no pictures to share - sorry!
